How we work

We pride ourselves on delivering what we promise, on time and on budget. We make the effort to ensure we understand the job fully and that you, in turn, understand exactly what you will get and how much it will cost.

The project brief

The brief is the cornerstone of our approach. Based on discussions with you, we analyse the project and spell out in detail what we will do, how much it will cost and how long it will take. The more specific we can be about your detailed requirements, the more confident you can be of a successful outcome.

Your acceptance of our proposal is the trigger for us to proceed. If we believe that the cost of a project will outweigh its likely benefits, we will say so. If you later require significant changes to the brief, we will advise you of the impact on plans and any budgetary implications. Our aim is always to deliver a project that genuinely benefits your organisation.

Running Your Project

One person will be directly responsible for your project from start to finish. He or she will be your single point of contact with FAP Consulting, whether you need to change the brief or timetable or to query orders, invoices or payments. Where we bring in additional specialist skills – for design, database management or copywriting – we manage them and stand accountable for their performance; you will need to work only with your FAP Consulting project leader.

We keep you informed on progress with your project and you will usually be able to monitor what we are doing day by day, checking the work on our development servers.
